I'm a Senior Lecturer in Analytical Chemistry at JKUAT, Department of Chemistry. I Lecture the following units: Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Nuclear, and Radiation Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. Other units:  Statistics and Research Methods.

Treasurer of University Academic Staff Union (UASU)-JKUAT Chapter that is  founded upon principles of social justice, labour democracy, and democratic action and is dedicated to the achievement of greater unity among its members for the purpose of improving their terms and conditions of service, standards of living, social responsibility and empowerment, bringing fairness and dignity to the workplace and ensuring academic freedom and social equity in the universities

I've Involved in research to isolate and characterize the active ingredients (antibacterial agent in honey that contribute to its medicinal property). The ultimate goal is to produce a product/ drug derived from honey that would be used for the treatment of patients for a variety of ailments. I've also taken part in the Development of flow injection/ gas diffusion interfaces for the generation of gases/vapor and subsequent introduction into various detectors.

 I am a member of Christian Evangelical Fellowship and   Organizing Committee member for the construction of a residential building for orphans at Rambira Mission, Kendu Bay.
